Before driving off for the National Day holiday or to visit family and friends, a clean car is a real priority for many employees. Recently the Tianyi factory completed the installation of a fully automatic touchless car wash machine in the yard of a Qingdao workplace, put into trial use before the holiday as a convenience benefit for staff.
During the initial survey the workplace provided the length, width and clear height of the car park along with the water and power positions. The engineers calibrated the vehicle recognition range for the vehicles most often washed — mainly family sedans and SUVs — and adjusted the sensing logic and spray-arm swing so the water curtain covered large areas such as the roof and doors. Before dispatch the machine was run through pre-rinse, high-pressure curtain with dedicated wash liquid, and a second rinse to confirm every system was stable before it was loaded and taken to site.
A touchless solution does not touch the paint with brushes, so it suits both company and private cars with paint protection film or ceramic coating and helps ease worries about scratches from brushing. For everyday dirt such as dust, mud spots and bug residue, high-pressure water with wash liquid handles the main body; for wheel-arch gaps, the back of the mirrors and the edges around the plate, staff are advised to wipe lightly and let the machine rinse again for a more even finish.
Vehicle flow at a workplace is not as concentrated as at a commercial shop, so what matters more is “wash on the way home, less waiting, less hassle“. This machine can run with one person guiding users: staff drive into the set position, start the cycle, and the main wash is usually done in a few minutes. Before National Day we completed the installation, the power and water tests and operator training, and reminded users to check the inlet filter, lubricant and sensor lenses before the holiday to keep everything running smoothly.
If a government office, industrial park or enterprise wants to turn car washing into a staff benefit, first measure the site dimensions, your usual vehicle types and the number of cars per day, then come to the Tianyi factory for a trial wash.
